Education / Qualification
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business and/or Commerce.
- The degree must be from a local or international University, College or Institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
- Candidates having a Master’s degree in Business and/or relevant professional certifications will be preferred.
- Certifications such as Economics, Accounts, AIBP or JAIBP are mentioned as preferred professional qualifications.

Relationship Manager – SME Responsibilities
The selected Relationship Manager – SME will be responsible for developing SME business relationships, supporting the Bank’s lending portfolio and managing client relationships. Major responsibilities mentioned in the advertisement include:
- Identify and acquire new SME clients to grow the Bank’s SME lending portfolio.
- Develop and execute client acquisition strategies in line with organizational goals.
- Promote financing products including working capital, trade finance and term loans.
- Manage and enhance existing client relationships for portfolio retention and growth.
- Review the financial health and performance of clients to identify risks and opportunities.
- Conduct periodic client visits and provide portfolio performance updates.
- Analyze financial statements and business models of SME clients to assess creditworthiness.
- Structure and recommend appropriate financing solutions according to client requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive credit proposals in accordance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure credit facilities are approved within the Bank’s risk appetite.
- Monitor accounts for early warning signals and take appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
- Maintain compliance with Bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide effective client service.
- Work towards financial and non-financial targets, including revenue, portfolio growth and client satisfaction.
- Contribute to the Bank’s strategy by meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Perform other assignments as directed by supervisors.
Required Knowledge & Competencies
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
- Basic understanding of banking products and services with exposure to SME Banking.
- Good geographical knowledge of the assigned area and surrounding business areas.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.
- Sales orientation and ability to identify business opportunities.
- Knowledge of SBP Prudential Regulations and regulatory requirements related to SME Lending.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and customer relationship management skills.
- Strong understanding of Credit Lending, SME Financing and Trade Finance.

Employment Terms
